My name is Joey and this is my store. I've been
making stoneware pottery for 14 years now and I
love it more than ever. I have a studio in a rural
area of Connecticut overlooking serene pastures
on the top of a hill where I live with my partner,
artist Bernie Re, and my Great Dane, Gwen (My
son, Chaz, is off to college). I feel very fortunate
that I'm able to make my living selling my work
and teaching pottery lessons. Now, through this
website, I have the chance to offer my pottery,
sculpture, and classes to an ever expanding
community.
You will see my pottery store offers options for
gifts such as bowls and platters for weddings to
frog mugs for birthdays. The frog mug is my
claim to fame. How about a gift certificate for
lessons or to let a special person choose their
own unique mug, vase, or bowl. All my stoneware
is non-toxic, dishwasher, microwave and oven
safe.
Maybe you've thought about taking pottery
lessons yourself. If you live near northwestern

you can visit one of my classes to see what it's
about. My classes are small and accommodate
all levels. It's really cool to make your own bowl or
mug. A gift certificate for classes makes a
great gift.
